Emailing Users from the Application
Inviting users to a data room, resetting their password or emailing out information from the application in a few short steps.
- Navigate to Users in the left menu
- Select the users from the grid. To select multiple users, use (shift+click) or (ctrl+click)
- Click the "Send Email" (envelope) button
Then choose the type of email you would like to send.
- Login Message: This is typically sent for an initial invite to the data room and will include the user's username and a link to set a password. The text here is our systems default email message, however, a one-time edit can be made to any of the fields directly on this form if you choose to do so. - Password Reset: This will simply send a link the user with instructions on setting a new password.
- Information Only: This is a free-form template used to email users directly from the application regarding any informational updates.
A preview of the email being sent is available via the (eye) button in the top right corner.
Helpful Hint: All emails from Vault Rooms are sent from (no-reply@vaultrooms.com). In some cases, these emails can be directed to a spam/junk folder. We recommend emailing all of your vault rooms users and advising them to whitelist the vaultrooms.com and
v-rooms.com domains so all emails are received.
