Run As: User
If you want to see what files your users will have access to when they log into the data room without having to create a test user, we have added that functionality for you.
Go to reports on the left-hand menu; select the room from the dropdown menu on the top right side of the screen, and choose which file listings you want to view. As shown below:
The File Listing will show you a simplified exportable version of the files that will be seen and their settings:
The File Listing - Tree will show you a printable PDF version of the folders/files that will be seen and their settings:
The view will default to "You," the admin, and allow you to select any user assigned to the selected room. You will notice below that I have selected a user at a security level of 2 with no security section assigned. The report refreshes to show that this user will only have access to the 2 files shown of the 6 files in the room.
If a user has been selected in the dropdown and you do not see files that you believe the user should have access to, this means either the files are above the user's assigned security level, or the user has not been assigned to the necessary security section.
