Website Modules - Visually Pleasing Articles
For increased site traffic, it is optimal to include Articles module on your website that is visually pleasing to the site vistors eyes, allowing only a small bit of the article to be viewed, and giving the option for a photo to be included in the teaser. To add this type of Articles module to your website, select Staff from the Modules Dropdown within the Page editor.
The module will appear where you placed it within the Page, click the button located on the far right of that content piece. A dialog box will open.
- Article ID: Type the ID of the Article you wish to display. This is the number displayed in the Articles Table and will corresspond with the article you wish to publish. An articles page MUST be set for this to work,
- Display an Image: Toggle yes or no to display an image with the article preview on the public webpage.
- Article Image: Upload an image to display with the article display on the public webpage. This image should be a minimum size of 500x500. It will be resized to fit the display area.
- Padding: This is the space around the article display ont he public website. This will consistently fill the layout area. Less padding means more article will show, but there will also be less space between content.
- Margin: This is the amount of space inside the article display. This also determins the amount of space between the article and the image.
- Button Color: Choose a color from the dropdown for the public website. This button will open the entire article for the site visitor to view.
- Button Text: This text is what the button for the site viewer to see the entire article will read.
When you have answered all questions and are pleased with the options, click okay to publish this article to your website. Repeat this for as many articles as you want on this page.
