Permission Overrides for Users
To set permission overrides, navigate to Users and select the user in the user list. (To select multiple users a room must be selected in the drop-down first)
Click the "Edit User" button, the "Edit User" modal popup will be presented.
Then navigate to "Access", click the "pencil" at the end of the row for the room to open the access. (If you are editing multiple users you will not have this step and will be presented with the room settings available for the selected users)
Use Room Defaults: This is the default option that all users will be set to when the Document Viewer is turned on for the data room. This will use all room default settings on all viewer supported files. (Unless there is a Document Override at the file level)
P-D: This will allow the selected user(s) to Print and Download all files even if the room defaults are No Print or No Download. (Unless there is Document Override at the file level)
NP-D: This will revoke the selected user(s) access to Print all files and allow Download for all files even if the room defaults are Print or No Download. (Unless there is a Document Override at the file level)
P-ND: This will allow the selected user(s) to Print all files and revoke Download for all files even if the room defaults are No Print and Download. (Unless there is a Document Override at the file level)
NP-ND: This will revoke the selected user(s) access to Print and Download all files even if the room defaults are Print and Download. (Unless there is a Document Override at the file level)
Click "Save" to keep your changes, or click "Close" to close the window without saving.
Note* Once Permission Policies are set you will then see the policies listed in the info pane as shown below.Policies that are left set to "Use Room Defaults" will show as "Use Room Defaults".
